# Expert to Leader Waitlist

 **Why you keep doing the old job**  
A small, hands-on evening for experts who lead in Munich 

**The problem**

> Susan is the best programmer on her team, so she was made team lead. Six months later she’s still fixing the hardest bugs herself, and still skipping the client meetings that are now her actual job.
> 
> She knows it. She agrees with it. She’s tried. Nothing changes.
> 
> It’s not a discipline problem. Something keeps her good intentions in check, and it makes perfect sense once you see it.

**What happens on the evening**

> 1. We look at Susan’s situation together and work out why her good intentions keep stalling.
> 2. You do the same for your own issue, step by step, mostly in pairs.
> 3. We find what you’re doing instead, and what it might be protecting.
> 4. You leave with one assumption about yourself to watch over the next week.
> 
> The method is Immunity to Change, developed by Robert Kegan and Lisa Lahey at Harvard. No prior knowledge needed.

**Who it’s for**

> Experts who lead, or are about to: tech leads, engineering managers, product managers, founders, specialists with a team.
> 
> You bring a real issue of your own. This isn’t a watch-and-listen evening.

**The practical bits**

> - 2 hours, on a weekday evening
> - Max. 6 people, small on purpose
> - BASE Coworking, Maxvorstadt
> - The first evening is a free pilot. In return, I ask for 5 minutes of honest feedback.
> - What you share stays in the room.
> 
> The date will be set once enough people are on the waitlist. You’ll hear first.
